The Arch and St Louis Cardinals Game ~ Day 1

I found these two pics on my computer after I finished this post, so they are out of order! We are inside of Busch Stadium!

On June 26, we headed to St. Louis for a three day weekend!!! We had an AWESOME time at the game!!! It was the boys first trip to the Arch and the entire family's first trip to a Major League Ball Game (my parents second game), the Cards vs Twins! The only thing I would have changed the entire day, was the heat and the Cardinals to win!!!! Thankfully we picked a night game to attend and it was cooler than during the day! We sat higher up in the stands, our seats were covered and there was a little breeze. We are definitely going to go to some more games in the future!!!

Magic House ~ Day 2

The boys really seemed to enjoy the Magic House. Jordan was more interested in the science exhibits more than anything. He was a little too old for some of it but Jacob was at the perfect age. I even played in the grocery store with them. If we lived in St Louis we would be visiting the Magic House a lot, it is so much better than our Children's Museum here in Evansville!

St. Louis Zoo ~ Day 3

On our last day in St. Louis, we visited the zoo. The boys enjoyed the Sting Ray Cove where you got to touch sting rays.

Jacob loved the monkeys!

One of Jacob's "meltdowns" during our trip. It was so hot the weekend we went but the kids were troopers. We originally were going to the zoo on Saturday but it was fore casted to be 96 degrees. We switched days with the Magic House and went on Sunday to the zoo, it was 85 degrees that day. It was a beautiful day!

My fav. animals!

Jake and his buddy, papaw!

Home where they belong!!! I feel like all I take are pics of Jacob but Jordan's getting too big for pics, I have to bribe him to take them!

The penguin exhibit was awesome too. After the zoo we headed to Fitz's for a late lunch. If you are going to be in the St. Louis area, especially around the zoo, you have to try Fitz's. Some friends of ours the Meier's recommended it and it was awesome! We had a wonderful time on our vacation, just wish it would have lasted longer. Next year, it's Disney World....yay!!!!
