Youth Night

Jordan's youth group, Fusion Youth led service at church last night.  They did a great job, I love seeing how the Lord is using them.  He is working in each teen and I cannot wait to see what He calls Jordan to do!!!  I am expecting mighty things!

Reds vs Tigers

Some of the Rookies faced off against each other last night.  6 of our Rookies are playing fall baseball in Newburgh this year.  It was a good game, all the boys did great!  After the game, they were surprised with a 2nd place trophy from last weekend's Henderson tourney.  The tourney was canceled due to rain so the outcome was figured on runs allowed during pool play.  The Rookies allowed 9 runs to Western Ky's 8 so they earned second place!

Rookies Report by Coach Mike Webb

Rookies took the field for their first 9U "live pitch" tournament in Henderson. Facing a Rage Blue team, Fuller faced 7 batters in 2 innings while striking out 6. Wells k'd 2 on 10 pitches. Williams and Webb finished off throwing 18 and 12 pitches. Rookies are going to have to buy some new cleats because they flat ran the bases. Three times stealing two bases at once. Hunt caught a laser in CF. Logan Simpson and Williams both took one for the team. Free swinging Rookies crushed the ball all night on their way to a 15-3 win.

Rookies faced off with Rage for a World Series rematch. Start time was pushed back nearly two hours for a 9:20 start time. With the overall #1 seed up for grabs, both teams went for it. Fuller was dominant again throwing 3 innings with 6 K's. Simpson and Gilmour pitched the final 2 to close out a 5 inning game due to time limit. Defensively, Anglin played a great first base and Hunt caught two bombs in RF to hold Rage to a tie in the last inning. Wells, Simpson, Christie, Gilmour and Webb led the hitting with Gilmour smoking one half way down the LF line. Leading off the bottom of the 5th with a 6-6 tie, Webb hit a double to RF. 3 pitches later Webb scores winning run on a passed ball.
Rookies win 7-6!

Due to an early morning rain, tournament is canceled. Rookies (2-0) finish in 2nd place to a Western Ky team (2-0) that allowed 8 runs to our 9 during pool play.

Girls Night Out

This past week I was blessed to spend some time with my girlfriends!  I had dinner at Biaggi's with friends from high school on Thursday evening.  It was so nice catching up!  We are planning an event every month- I cannot wait until we meet up again!  On Saturday I attended my friend Jessica's painting party.  My sister went along with me, we had a blast!!!  It took us 4 hours to paint but it was well worth it.  I love my pumpkin!

Tigers vs Diamondbacks - 9U - Fall Baseball - Newburgh

Tonight Jacob played in his first live pitch game!!!  He decided he wanted to play fall baseball instead of football this year.  Brad is helping our friend Piet coach the Tigers in Newburgh!  Jacob has tons of friends on his team: Lance Webb, Jesse Lutz, Alden Sarver and Ethan Gilmour!  Jacob played against his best friend Dom (Diamond Backs) and the Tigers won 13-8!!!  Jacob did great on the mound, he pitched the first two innings!!!  He also hit good against Dom's pitching!!!  And so baseball continues in the Fuller house!!!!
