Patriot Tournament - 10U Rookies - Terre Haute

The boys fought hard in the heat all weekend & won the Patriot Tournament.  They went undefeated all weekend.  So unbelievably proud of our boys.  They play with such heart and never give up!  Jake had a great game, he pitched 3 innings and threw 27 k's and 3 balls! 

Grand Park - Mt. Prospect Showcase 2016 - 10U Rookies

Game 1: Rookies dug a hole early and lose 10-7 to Illinois Sparks from Chicago's Bo Jackson Academy.

Game 2: Rookies bounce back and run rule JCards in 4 innings.
Game 3: Rookies hold tight and beat Cincinnati Baseball Club 8-7.
Game 4: Rookies play their first game on artificial turf and win 7-2 vs Go Pro.
Rookies make top 6 teams and advance to Sunday as a 5 seed vs Lids Indiana Bulls White and lose 8-2. Our boys met the challenge and raised their play to another level. We came in 5th out of 13 teams!

Holiday World 2016

Jake is blessed with a great group of friends.  He had a great time yesterday at Holiday World with his buddies.  They opened the park up and shut the park down!  So thankful for my "mom" friends that treat Jake like their own!

Terre Haute Wood Bat Champs 2016 - 10U Rookies

Mad Dog Black beat us by 1 run last year in Terre Haute wood bat as 9U (they lost 1 game last season). This year we thought it would be close but we could've never guessed how close. After 5 innings of shutout pitching, we are down 2-0 and our last at bat when we hit a 2 rbi double to tie game. After a game full of defensive gems, 2-2 tie was broken in the bottom of 9th with a bases loaded hit by pitch rbi. Go Rooks!

BHS Basketball Camp 2016

The boys both went to camp this past week!  Jordan was helping as a BHS basketball player and Jake was a camper.  They both had a great week!  GO BHS!
