O.k., this blog thing is harder than I thought!!! I am still not satisfied with the way my page looks, so bare with me!!! I finally posted some pics but the layout/backgrounds are not up to par!
Today, we celebrated my cousin Caytee's 16th birthday. It seems just like yesterday she was born. Now, she's 16 and a sophomore in high school. Soon she'll be driving and then off to college. This only reminds me of how fast kids grow. I cannot believe my oldest is in second grade already and my little one is potty trained! It seems just like yesterday, they were little guys. I try every day to remind myself of this and take in everything they say and do.
Brad and I were putting the kids to bed early this week and Jacob was wanting to pick out the book to read before bed. Brad said no, that they were going to read a Bible story. Jacob ran into the living room and was so excited and said, "Mom, we're going to read the Jesus stories"!!! I thought that was so....sweet! On Friday we were on our way to Evansville and he yelled, "Punch bug, no punch backs"! I thought this was so hilarious coming from a 3 year old! That shows me how much of sponge he is!!!
Jordan amazes me every day with what he is learning in school. He reads better and better every day and is excited about it! He loves playing baseball and basketball. He is so driven for being so young, he tries and tries to make it perfect. He has such a tender heart and is such a good big brother. He is turning out to be an awesome young man!
Tomorrow I'm off to Opry Mills with Brad, my sister Mindy and bro-in-law Juan to do some shopping. We're getting the kids fall/winter clothes and I hope to find some good deals! The boys are going to Grandpa and Grandma Fuller's for the day/night (Sunday) and they're taking them to Haubstat to see sprint car races. Monday, we're off to Holiday World for one last time! I hope everyone has an awesome Labor Day weekend!
