I don't have any pictures to post, I was too busy running around helping out last night. I am so proud of my boys and the fear they overcame last night during the Christmas program. My oldest Jordan has never participated in a Christmas program where he has a speaking part. This year he did and I was so proud of him! Our children's ministry program is called SoulSavers and they performed a play called "Jesus is Missing". Basically it was about people being wrapped up in everything that has to do with Christmas and forgetting about the true meaning of Christmas. He played Josiah and I was so proud of him. He also participated in a drama that included learning sign language. I had to choke back the tears seeing my baby up there signing.
This was Jacob's first year to be involved in the Christmas program. He talked himself in and out of going on stage. My nephew Justin was there to watch the boys and Jacob wanted him to come on stage and sing with the kids. With Justin up there, Jacob did fine! Most of the time they were up there, Jacob kept hitting Justin in the butt. I could have died. It was cute and what do you expect out of 3-5 year olds? They were so adorable. They sang, "Happy Bday to Jesus", "We Wish you a Merry Christmas" and "Jingle Bells".
After the program, we had a birthday party for Baby Jesus and had cake and punch. Santa came and visited the kids and gave them McDonald's gift cards. It was a wonderful night celebrating the birth of our Saviour, Jesus Christ!
