Character Counts

It's hard to see but in the Character Counts segment of the "Wildcat News", Jordan is a student at Loge whose character skills are deemed the "Best of the Best". He received a Character Counts, Loge t-shirt in front of the entire student body. We are pretty proud of him!

Jake's Basketball Banquet

On Saturday, March 20, Jacob received his very first trophy. His coach had some really sweet things to say about him being the littlest one on the team and how he played well and would steal the ball if told to. We really enjoyed watching him play this season. He was so excited to get his first trophy and has been carrying it around the house all week. He is signed up for his first year of baseball and we are really looking forward to that starting in a week! The pictures above are:

1. Jake and his trophy
2. Kendall, Jake, Kaylen and Autumn - they were on his team and are also his buddies from church
3. Jake and Christopher- another buddy from church but they were on different teams
4. Jake and his Coach Sandefur
5. A family photo with none of us looking too thrilled-lol (poor Jordan- his mouth looks terrible)!

When You Fall, You Have to Get Back Up!

Jacob has been wanting to learn how to ride his bike without training wheels. We are going to the cabins at Lincoln State Park during Spring Break next week and he's determined he's going to do it. My dad taught Jordan how to ride his bike, so he came over about a week ago and began working with Jacob. Jacob was such a trooper and will be riding before long. He says he wants to ride with the big boys (Jordan -8 and Justin-my nephew who is 6) when we go to Lincoln. He may very well do that because when he fell, he got right back up and tried again!

Sectional Champs!

Brad, his parents and the boys were able to attend the last round of the 3A sectionals on Saturday, March 6. The Boonville Pioneers won and it was their first sectional win in 26 years! Congrats Pioneers! This coming Saturday, we are heading to Washington after Jacob's game to cheer them on to a Regional victory!!!

Jacob's Basketball Game

Basketball is one of our favs! Jacob seems to enjoy playing and is doing great considering he's the youngest on the team. He's 4 1/2 and is playing with Kindergartners and 1st graders. He has improved tremendously throughout the season. It has been exciting this year because Jake has 3 of his friends from church playing on his team. This coming Saturday is his last game and we don't want the season to end! Thank goodness for baseball right around the corner!

Basketball Sectionals

Boonville High School has an awesome boys basketball team this year. We have attended most home games and Friday, March 5, was the second round of 3A sectionals. Boonville got a first round by and won against Princeton in the second round Friday night! Jordan wanted his face painted to show his support for the Pioneers and then he took the paint to the game and shared it with his friends. We are so excited for the Pioneers and the community!
