Swonder Ice Rink

Sunday, Jake was invited to a birthday party for his buddies Eli and Gavin.  They were celebrating their 8th birthday party at Swonder Ice Rink.  It was Jake's first try at ice skating and he did great!  All the kids did, they had a blast!  Jake ended up with a blister and has been wearing a band-aid on his heel ever since!  We are so blessed with such great friends and thankful the kids get to experience different things together!

Date Night

Brad has been working tons of overtime in the last two weeks and has not been home too much in the evenings.  When he is, the kids want to spend time with him and that is the most important thing!  We were in need of a date night badly!  Saturday, my in-laws watched the boys so we could spend time together.  We met some friends from church at Zuki and then went to an IceMen game.  After the game, we headed to Target and then to Steak and Shake.  We finally got home and in bed around 2, it was so nice to spend time together.  I cannot wait for another date night!!!

Way To Go Bub!

Last night sixth grade boys basketball team played Jasper.  In the A team game BMS defeated Jasper 43-33.  Ross Kirkland and Luke Conner 9pts each and Kenyon Bruner 7pts.  Great job boys finishing the season 6-3.  In the B game Jasper defeated your Panthers 44-33.  Jordan Fuller 10pts, great job on the season 5-4.  Coach Bruner


Jordan played in his last middle school game last night.  I am sad to see the season end but he will still be playing at EBA until baseball season starts!  Jordan did great this year in basketball and is continuing to improve by working at it!  I believe he will soon choose to focus on only basketball and put the other sports aside.  It is his one true love!

Our Day in Instagram Photos

The kids had Monday off for a holiday, so we made the most of it and had fun!  We met my sister and nephew at Chick Fila for lunch and then to ARC Lanes to bowl.  We had such a good time and hated to see it end.  The day was topped off with Jordan's basketball game at the middle school.  The Panthers beat Mt. Vernon and Jordan scored 8 points.  We are looking forward to the next 3 day weekend in February, fingers crossed we don't have to use it as a snow make up day!

Aces Game with Boonville Blaze

Sunday, Jacob's travel basketball team attended the University of Evansville Purple Aces game.  The Aces played #23 Wichita State and beat them by 4!!  After the game, the boys were able to play on the court.  They had a blast, it was a great afternoon of basketball!
