Loge Spring Carnival

Friday night before we headed to Bowling Green KY, the family headed to Loge's Spring Carnival. Since I am the head room mom for Jake's class, I had to work at the carnival.  Jake got to spend some extra time with his buddies.  I had to work an inflatable the entire time, so I wasn't able to take any photos.  Thankfully a friend took this one of Jake with his buddy Eli.  He missed out on the photo with the rest of the crew!  We are so very thankful for our Loge friends, they are some pretty wonderful people!

Rookies ~ Bowling Green, KY Tourney

The Rookies played in Bowling Green KY this weekend!  They finished 2nd place in the tournament & played their hearts out!  We stayed 2 nights in Bowling Green & the kids had a blast hanging out after their games on Saturday.  They hung out in each others hotel rooms & went swimming for close to 4 hours!  We had a great weekend with our Rookies Family!  We have a weekend off this coming weekend and then we head to Tell City IN over Mother's Day weekend.  Great job Rookies!

Fusion Youth ~ 40 Day Revolution!

Jordan's youth group along with 8 other local youth groups are participating in the 40 Day Revolution. They are joining together to pray & fast for their peers, teachers & school administrators. Like David conquered Goliath, with their prayer & fasting they plan to conquer the strongholds over their peers! Please be in prayer for our teens, pray protection over them....I'm sure satan is not happy about this Revolution!

Rookies ~ Easter Egg Bash

Over Easter weekend, the Rookies participated in a one day tourney in Paoli, IN.  They finished first out of two teams.  There were more teams signed up but at the last minute they pulled out.  We run ruled the other team 19-1 & 16-2.  It was a beautiful day for baseball and we are World Series bound in July now that we finished first!  This weekend we are headed to Bowling Green, KY!

Fun with Jus

Jake stayed with Jus Saturday night while Jordan had his "friend" party.  They enjoyed lunch at Chic-Fil-A & then headed to Smothers Park in Owensboro.  It was a beautiful day to be outside!

The Big 13!

We celebrated hard this weekend, I think Jordan had a great 13th Birthday weekend!

Happy 16th Anniversary to Us!

I am so glad I said YES all those years ago!  We've been together 18 years & married 16!  God blessed me beyond measure when He gave me you!

Happy 13th Birthday Jordan!

My baby is officially a teenager!  He's an amazing young man, maturing more and more every day!  I am amazed at how much he changes from week to week.  We have our good times & our bad times but I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world!  I am excited to see what God is going to do through him!  Happy Birthday Jordan Michael, your momma loves you more than life itself!

Rookies ~ Kentucky Lake Spring Bash

This past weekend was opening weekend for the Rookies!  We headed to Kentucky Lake on Saturday morning for The Kentucky Lake Spring Bash at Mike Miller park.  The boys did well in pool play, their record was 2-0.  Unfortunately, they lost in the first round of the tourney on Sunday.  We had a great time, wish they could have played more baseball!

Spring Break 2014

The boys' Spring Break this year consisted of: time alone with mom and dad...dinner of their choice and shopping, movies with lunch with cousin Jus, friends over, fishing trip with Grandma & Grandpa Knight and Aunt Mindy, hanging out & sleepover with Grandma & Grandpa Fuller and a weenie roast and bonfire.  We didn't make it to anywhere warm or tropical but we had a great week of just relaxing and spending time with each other!
