Cards vs Cubs

We finally got to see the Cardinals play this year! We originally had tickets to the Cards vs Cubs back in July but ESPN moved the game to prime time so we couldn't go. We sold those tickets and were able to catch them playing the Cubs again this past weekend! We left out early Sunday morning (Sept 25) with my parents and my sister and her family. We ate lunch before we got to the stadium so we could save money! Once we made it in, we found out our seats were awesome! We had tons of leg room and had a fantastic view of the field! The boys' grandpa bought them score cards and they kept track of the outs, hits, etc.... of both teams. The weather was beautiful, around 65 degrees! The Cards pulled off a win and the kids got to see Molina and Furcal hit home runs! After the game, we headed to Smokey Bones for dinner to celebrate! It was such a great trip. The boys LOVE baseball and to see them interact with each other during the game and talk about the players is so fun! We can't wait to go again next year!

Cards vs Reds

On Sunday, May 2, we took the boys to watch a Cardinals game at Busch Stadium. We left super early on Sunday morning so we could get there when the gates opened, so we could walk around the stadium and watch batting practice. The Cardinals were playing the Reds and the Cards pulled out a win, 6-0! We witnessed a home run and Albert Pujols was exciting to watch as ever! The boys got to run the bases once the game was over (it was over an hour wait!) and they received an Albert Pujols bat. We had SO much fun, it was a long day but well worth it!

On June 26, we headed to St. Louis for a three day weekend!!! We had an AWESOME time at the game!!! It was the boys first trip to the Arch and the entire family's first trip to a Major League Ball Game (my parents second game), the Cards vs Twins! The only thing I would have changed the entire day, was the heat and the Cardinals to win!!!! Thankfully we picked a night game to attend and it was cooler than during the day! We sat higher up in the stands, our seats were covered and there was a little breeze. We are definitely going to go to some more games in the future!!!
