Sledding at City Lake

Sunday, Feb. 14, the snow fell and it fell good! Monday was President's Day and the kids were suppose to use that day for a snow makeup day from the last snowfall. That didn't happen, school was canceled and it was canceled for 2 days and on Wed. the kids were on a two hour delay. Instead of sitting inside, we decided to get a group of friends together and meet at an area park called City Lake and go sledding. The Wongler's, The Beard's, The Brown's, The Alexander's and us went sledding and boy did we have fun! Not only did the kids sled but the adults did too and I think we might of had more fun than the kids! We are finally on somewhat of a normal schedule now but it is Friday and time for the weekend! It will be hard next week to get back into the swing of things but it was nice to have a little break!

Valentine Party - Jacob

Valentine's Day ~ another excuse to have a party at school! Jacob's preschool party was Fri., Feb. 12 and it was a wonderful party. The kids played several games, decorated their own sugar cookies, made an alien card holder for their Valentines and had story time. Jacob loves preschool and is learning so much. It is hard to believe in a few weeks we will be signing him up for his first year of baseball and in April, it will be Kindergarten Roundup. Where has the time gone?

Snow Day during a weekend!

SNOW DAY, it was so much fun and yes it was during a weekend (Jan. 30) so that meant Brad/Daddy could share in the fun! We played outside for close to 2 hours and enjoyed every minute of it! The boys love being outside and a little snow and cold weather didn't keep them from having FUN!

Championship Game

The week of February 1, Jordan's BYBA tourney began. He was sick on Monday but his team pulled off a win and advanced to the second round on Wed., Feb. 3!

They won the second round of their tourney and played in the Championship Game
on Thurs., Feb. 4

They finished 2nd place and we were so proud of Jordan and the team!

Jordan and his coach, Rock Ritchinson, he was a wonderful and patient coach! We're really sad to see basketball season end for Jordan but that only means baseball season is around the corner!
