Jordan - Tourney Time!

First round of Jordan's tournament started tonight. It was an intense game, we played a team that had the same reg. season record as us. We played them twice in reg. season and tied the first game and lost the second. The kids played as a "team" and won as a "team". We won 13-12 and Jordan was the closing pitcher. He had an immense amount of pressure on him but he and the team pulled off the win. The opposing team had last bats and Jordan was able to hold the score to 13-12. He struck a kid out, the 1st baseman got an out and Jordan helped the short stop get the last out! We were so proud of Jordan and the composure he kept during the game! We went to Dairy Queen to celebrate their victory. We play the second round next Tues.!

Panama City Beach 2011

Birthday Celebration - Part 1

For the last couple years, we have been taking the boys out for a birthday dinner of their choice. Jordan picked AppleBees with just the four of us and had a friend stay over after his party. We let Jake bring a friend to his dinner because we feel like he's too young to have any one over yet. He picked his buddy Cooper from school. The boys were so good and had lots of fun eating pizza and playing games! We are having a birthday party next week at Richard's Pool, part 2 of our celebration!

Vacation

We're heading to the beach for a week and leaving the stress and worries behind!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jacob - Baseball 2011

Jacob's on Coach Aigner's team along with a few buddies from school. He is still having fun playing baseball but I think he's ready for "real baseball" next year. It's still a lot of fun and we would rather be at the ballfield than anywhere else!

Mother's Day 2011

This Mother's Day was a blast for me! The weekend before MD, my sister and I surprised my mom with a weekend road trip. My mom and I share a love for musicals and theater so we reserved tickets for a dinner theater in Clarksville, IN. We headed there early Saturday morning and shopped all day and had lunch. We went back to the hotel and got ready for the evening show. We watched the Drowsy Chaperone and ate dinner during the show. It was such a hoot, my mom loved her surprise. Then on Sunday, we shopped some more and headed to Louisville, KY, to eat at Lynn's Paradise Cafe (all the pics are from a cell phone). Lynn was featured on Throw Down with Bobby Flay on the Food Network, so we HAD to visit! It was such a cool place! We had a blast, it was nice to get away and have girl time! On Mother's Day, we had a low key day of relaxing and spending quality time together! I love my little family!

I Love My Boys!

The boys love being outside doing pretty much whatever. On this beautiful spring (don't remember the date), they opted for skates boards and basketballs.
