Snow Much Fun!!

We received more snow last night and today we headed out to my parents house to ride 4 wheelers and sled.  We had a blast!

Christmas #4 - Chandler Family 2012

After we opened gifts at home on Christmas morning, we had about 3 hours to hang out before heading to my grandparents house.  My grandparents and aunt got the boys fat heads for Christmas.  Jordan got an IU one and Jacob got 3 of the Green Bay Packers.  My parents bought the boys IU candy stripped pants, several gift cards and their traditional stocking.  We ate a huge brunch and spent time together until the evening.  We left out hoping to beat the snow storm, which the kids were so excited for!  My boys were spoiled rotten this Christmas and we still have one to go.  My sister and her family spent Christmas in Baltimore this year, so we are celebrating with them on New Years Day!

Fun Day with the Family

Sunday the 23, we took the kids to see Rise of the Guardians and to Apple Bees for dinner between church services.  Brad preached Sunday morning because our pastor was visiting family for Christmas.  We had a great afternoon spending time together!

Let It Snow!

It snowed in Southern Indiana!!!!  We woke on Wednesday to snow in Boonville and the kids were in heaven!  I had to drag them inside after being out for almost 2 hours!  We built a snowman and named him Crimson!  We built him outside of Jake's window so he could check on him before bed each night.  We had a blast playing in the snow.  I had to return to work on Thursday so Brad's parents came over to watch the boys.  Jordan had basketball practice and while he was gone, Jacob played in the snow again.  Brad's mom had to drag him in again.  I love that my boys love being outside, actually prefer it over tv and video games.  It is suppose to snow more this weekend and I see more snow fun in the future (hopefully dad can enjoy it too)!

Christmas #3 - Home 2012

The kids got up at 6:00 AM on Christmas morning, I'm a mean mom and sent them back to bed!  I told them we would open gifts at 7:00!  To my surprise, they listened!  We read the Christmas Story from the Bible and prayed before opening gifts.  The boys loved all their gifts, especially the tickets to a Miami Heat game.  They didn't ask Santa for tickets (Jordan doesn't believe in Santa but plays along for Jake) so they were surprised beyond belief to receive them!  We had a wonderful morning as a family, celebrating Jesus' birth!
