Chandler Christmas 2014

After unwrapping gifts Christmas morning, we headed over to my grandparents to celebrate with my mom's family.  My mom had the flu and was unable to come.  We missed her but she insisted we celebrate without her!  We had a great day spending time with my grandparents and family.

Christmas Morning 2014

We had a great Christmas, God has blessed us so much.  The boys didn't ask for much this year, it was hard to Christmas shop for them.  Jordan wanted a phone and Jake a tablet- thankfully we were able to get a good deal through AT&T.  Things are so expensive anymore- they had very few gifts listed and we were able to get them!!  They were completely surprised, especially Jordan.  He's wanted a phone for a long time, he's probably the only teenager in his school without one.  He was beyond excited when he unwrapped it!  Jake's only gift requests were a tablet and Green Bay Packers football gloves.  He was so pumped when he opened both gifts! We had a great morning reading the Word and celebrating Jesus' birth!

Christmas Eve 2014

Christmas Eve was spent with Mom and Dad Fuller.  We had a great day spending time with them.  They always spoil us all rotten.  Honestly, I couldn't make it without them.  They help Brad and I out so much during the week with the kids.  We had a great Christmas, so very thankful for my inlaws!

Go Panthers!

Last night, practice was cancelled because of all the ball played over the weekend.  This was a nice break for Jacob.  He and his buddy Connor (who also plays on the team with Jake) were able to watch Jordan's basketball game.  The Panthers went up against the Tell City Marksmen and got a win!  It was a great evening, laid back and much needed for us all!

Boonville Christmas Classic 2014

This past weekend, Jacob's 4th grade feeder team played in their first tourney of the year.  They finished the tourney 3-2, not bad for their first rumble on the court. Jacob received the MVP award after one of his games on Saturday!  Jacob is very aggressive and because of this, he received many injuries during the tourney.  Friday night, he got a knee to the ribs and lost his breath.  He was scared to death but took it like a champ.  He also went to dive for a ball and hit his head on the wall.  Saturday he jammed his finger and we had to tape it for him to play.  On Sunday he played against one of his friends from the Rookies and they collided.  Jacob's eye hit Hayden's glasses and he received a small shiner from the encounter!  All in all it was a great start to basketball season for the boys.  Since we beat Castle in a nail biter on Sunday, one of the dads bought the team DQ ice cream to celebrate!  We had a great weekend, too bad it flew by!

Christmas Tree Hunting Adventure 2014 & Decking the Halls

Over Thanksgiving weekend we headed to Ahrens Christmas Tree Farm in Reo, IN to find a Christmas tree.  For the past few years, their selection hasn't been the greatest and we've considered going elsewhere for a tree.  My heart is torn because my family and I have been going there since I was a kid.  Mrs. Ahrens said this will be the last year they are open to the public because the farm is just too much work.  My heart breaks for them but they are getting older and it is understandable.  We found a beautiful tree and headed home to decorate it.  Jordan and Brad set the tree up and put on the lights and Jake and I hung the ornaments.  We had a great day Decking the Halls, our tree is beautiful...this time of year is simply amazing!
