Christmas Day w/my parents and grandparents

After we opened presents at home, we headed to my parents house to celebrate with them and my grandparents. The kids love going to grandma and grandpa's house and you put that with Christmas and they were double excited! Jacob has been asking for Batman's Cave since he played with his cousins and his Grandma and Grandpa Knight, Great Papaw and Mamaw Chandler and Aunt Tracy and cousin Caytee didn't disappoint! He received the Bat Cave and all the accessories, money, gift cards to WalMart and to the movies! Jordan has been asking for an IPOD and once again, the grandparents and others didn't disappoint! He received gift cards to Game Stop, movies and WalMart along with money. I think they are both spoiled rotten!

Christmas Morning at Home

Christmas morning started out rough. Jacob woke up at 1:30 in the morning crouping so we didn't know if Christmas would happen or not. We made different sleeping arrangements so we could sleep with Jacob and surprisingly, both kids were up at 6:00 ready to see what Santa left! They got everything they asked for and were so excited! Both boys and Brad got new IU gear, I was left out-lol! After we opened gifts, we headed to my parents house for more Christmas fun! Happy Birthday Jesus, we love you!

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve we spent the evening with Brad's parents but I didn't take any pictures. We had homemade authentic spaghetti and ravioli. It was so delicious! Jacob got a DS and a DS starter kit and Jordan got a new baseball glove, IU sweatshirt and a DS game. Jordan was still fighting a sinus infection and Jacob was starting to not feel well. We made it home around 10:00 Christmas Eve and put cookies and coke out for Santa. The kids felt crummy so I took one picture and sent them to bed.

Jordan- BYBA '09-'10

I love, love watching Jordan play basketball. I don't know which one I love more, basketball or baseball. He has really stepped up his game this year and in this game, he scored 13 points for his team. I am a proud mom to say the least!!!

Jacob's Preschool Christmas Party

Jacob's preschool Christmas party was Fri., Dec. 19. It was also his last day of school until the new year. He had so much fun making a gingerbread house, playing games, listening to Christmas stories and singing songs.

Jordan and Jacob's Christmas Program

On Sunday, December 13, the boys had their Christmas program at church. Jordan and Brad played a father and son that was wrapped up in the commercial meaning of Christmas. Jacob played Joseph during a scene and during the rest of the program while the commercial and true meaning of Christmas were being played out back and forth, Jacob sang with the other kids. He hammed it up, doing cartwheels and dancing like the people in River Dance. It was so awesome to see my kids (who were once shy) on stage singing for the Lord.

Girls Night Out Christmas Style

We had our Women's Church Group Christmas Party on December 7 at Nikki Meleski's house. We had Fazzoli's for supper and various women brought desserts! We played the White Elephant Game and brought ornaments to exchange. We had such a blast, I love the ladies that I go to church with, they are some of my very best friends.

Deck the Halls

We love decorating the tree, the boys really get into it. They do a pretty good job on their own, the only help I give is with the ornaments on top and lights/beads. They do the rest!

Ahrens Christmas Tree Farm

We made our annual trip to Ahren's Christmas Tree Farm in Reo, Indiana the Saturday of the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. The boys love going to the farm and enjoy running and getting lost in the trees. We picked a beautiful 6 1/2 foot, Scottish pine this year and we love it. I love having a real tree in the house for Christmas!
