Jake Turns Double Digits - The Big 10

My parents held a bonfire/weenie roast at their house tonight and since we were all together, we celebrated Jake's 10th birthday.  We had a great evening hanging out with family, playing corn hole and just visiting.  It was a beautiful evening, Jake is a blessed boy!

Last Day of 4th & 8th Grade

My boys are growing up too fast!  Today is their last day of 4th & 8th Grade.  After today, I will be the mother of a 5th grader and FRESHMAN!  I cannot believe how fast time flies by, it makes me sad.  I look forward to seeing what their future holds.  I am beyond proud of them and blessed to be their mother!

End of School Year Celebrations

With the end of school around the corner, the boys have been enjoying the last few days of school.  Last Friday (5/22) Jacob enjoyed an AR party at Loge.  He hit his reading goal every 9 weeks so he was invited to the AR party.  Then yesterday (5/26), both boys enjoyed field day at their schools.  I wasn't able to attend any of festivities, thankfully some friends took pictures at Jake's school.  Jordan wasn't allowed to have his phone out during his field day, so I only have a picture of him after school.  Only 2 more days after today and we're on Summer Break!!!!

Memorial Day Weekend 2015

We had a fun filled Memorial Day weekend.  Saturday, I went to Zumba and Brad finished up our landscaping project, cleaned the gutters and worked in the yard all day.  When I got home, I worked inside cleaning and catching up on laundry.  The boys stayed overnight Saturday with their grandparents so Brad & I could enjoy a date night.  We went to dinner and the drive-in.  It was a beautiful evening for the drive-in.  Sunday, Brad and I went to church and then to lunch.  We picked up the kids, then gained two extra boys for an over nighter.  We had hot dogs and sausages over the fire pit, strawberry shortcakes, rootbeer/strawberry floats, smores and more!!!  Then we headed out early Monday for a Cards game!  We had a wonderful weekend, so very thankful for the sacrifices of those that have lost their lives for our freedom!

Cards vs Diamondbacks

We celebrated Jordan's 14th (April 11) & Jacob's 10th (May 31) Birthday at a Cards game on Monday.  We decided to go to a game instead of having a big birthday party.  We had a wonderful time, the weather was beautiful and our Cards won 3-2!

4th Grade Awards Day 2015 - Loge

Jacob had a great 4th grade year at Loge!  He received the A/B Honor Roll Award, AR Award, Student Council Award and 50% Presidential Physical Fitness Award.  He has a great group of friends and we have enjoyed watching them grow!  Can't believe after next week we will have a High School student and 5th grader.  Time sure does fly when you're having fun!
