Lake Rudolph Camping Trip ~ Day 1 ~ Blitzen Bay

After Jordan's tourney on Saturday (June 20), we headed up to Santa Claus, IN to Lake Rudolph to camp for the weekend. It was fore casted to be hot all weekend and it was a scorcher on Saturday so we went straight to Blitzen Bay to swim! We spent a good 3 hours there swimming and cooling off!

We took a break from swimming and got some yummy ice cream!

After swimming, we headed to Dale for supper at Denny's.

Lake Rudolph Camping Trip ~ Day 2 ~ Father's Day

The boys were up and ready to go on Sunday morning. They played hard on Saturday and got a good night's sleep!!!
Brad cooked the sausage and bacon and my mom made pancakes.

We celebrated Father's Day while we were camping! Brad is such an awesome dad!

Juan (my bro-in-law) and Justin

We made smoked sausages, hot dogs, creek fries and baked beans for lunch. My grandparents came to visit after church.

My grandma, Brad, my dad and Jordan played a little corn hole!

My mom and Grandpa Chandler, he will turn 80 on June 28! He's a wonderful man, I have learned a lot from him!

Once everyone left, it was the kids, my dad and sister left to spend some time together for Father's Day. We made smores for the kids and they watched a movie in the camper.

Jacob and his papaw!!

Lake Rudolph Camping Trip ~ Day 3 ~ Holiday World

We broke down the campsite and Jacob was right there to help! Then we were off to Holiday World!

We finally made it to Holiday World! Our first trip of the season was so much fun. Since we were camping at Lake Rudolph, we were there within minutes! We ate and then headed off to the Wave Pool. The boys had so much fun swimming and catching the waves! Afterwards, we headed to Kima Bay and the boys rode water slide after water slide! Jacob threw a fit to leave and I kept telling him we would be back next week but it didn't help! I love having Holiday World passes, it keeps us out and active during the summer! We had an awesome Father's Day weekend, just wish it was a little cooler!

End of baseball season.....for now!!!

Hopefully, one day we will get our baseball pictures. There seems to be some problems with the photographer, so there is no telling when we will get them! Jordan's team lost in the first round of their tourney on Saturday. He was really upset about the loss but there will always be other seasons! He went to cheer his friends on tonight at the second round of the tourney, that's a good sport!

It is the end of baseball season with Boonville Jr. League but Jacob will begin playing at Metro in July. He will play in a league for 6 weeks and our entire family is excited to see him play! Jordan will play fall baseball in Newburgh beginning in a few months, it will be an instructional league for live pitch!

We have enjoyed this season and our coaches were wonderful! The boys get to attend their first Major League Baseball game this Friday night, the Cardinals vs Twins! We are so pumped about going! It is the end of baseball season for now, actually for 3 weeks!!!!

Boonville Jr. League Baseball 2009

At least two days a week we spend our evenings at the ball park, some weeks it has been more. Jacob would live there if you would let him!!! He missed the cut off to play this year by a month and we recently found out that he cannot play fall ball in Newburgh either. So we are going to enroll him in a league down at Metro in Evansville where Jordan takes baseball lessons. He loves playing baseball and we cannot wait to see him play on a team!!!

Jordan was blessed this year to get a good coach. The past three years have been a big disappointment in the coach department but not this year! Our coach is awesome and Jordan has enjoyed playing on his team!

Jordan started off the season playing catcher a lot but after a practice, the coach moved him to second and sometimes third base. He likes those positions so much better!

Here he is playing third base, I think our team is waiting on the other team to come onto the field!

Jacob watching his big brother play ball!

Coming off the field to get ready to bat! Jordan up until the last few games as only struck out twice. The last few games, he has changed the way he is batting and is striking out more...not so good! It is frustrating him and getting into his head.

Here he is with Zeb eating Sour Skittles. He loves having SS and Bubble Gum Tape in the dugout with him!

Zeb, Jordan and Caleb

This is our team after their win on Thursday night! We found out that we came in 4th in the regular season (out of 7 teams) and will be playing the 5th seed in the tourney on Saturday. If we advance, we play the 1st seed on Monday! Wish us luck!!! I am so proud of each one of the boys on our team...they have worked hard this summer! We love baseball in the Fuller house!!!

Summer + Taste Freeze Ice Cream = LOVE

Thursday (yesterday) we headed to the spray park here in town with tons of friends. Stacey brought her two girls, Kaylen and Kendall. Nic brought her two girls, Anna and Camryn plus her two nieces Autumn and Summer. Laurie brought her kids, Emma, Zack, Zane, Macy and Zander and then of course, my kids were there! That totals 13 kids!!!! Wow!!! After the spray park, I took the kids to Taste Freeze to enjoy some yummy ice cream. Nothing says summer like Taste Freeze Ice Cream!!!!

My 100th post and Summer Fun!!!!

Who doesn't love summer!? We do around here! Jordan got a new slip and slide for his birthday and we finally got a chance to try it out! We've been so busy with basketball camp and baseball games that we haven't had much down time! The boys had so much fun cooling off in the back yard! We cannot wait until we can finally get to Holiday World. Our plans are to go this Thurs. and finally use our yearly passes! I hit a milestone today, my 100th post!!! I love blogging, it is so much easier than scrap booking! I'm sure there will be more posts to come, especially about our summer activities!!!
