What's Been Going on With Jordan Lately!

Jordan's been 12 for almost two weeks now- where has the time gone?  I'm not really sure!  Jordan's been busy with school work, 6th grade has been harder for him but he is giving it his all!  We recently had him tested for a comprehension disability and ADHD and those results came back negative- which I am definitely praising God for!  His learning ability/process is slower than some but he tested high in all areas for the type of learner he is-he is actually over achieving. School is tough for him at times, especially in subjects like Literature.  He accels in Math and Science, Math being is favorite overall.  He recently finished a Lit/English project over the country of Sweden.  He had to write a paper, make a poster board of the country and do an oral presentation in class.  He did great, earning a B+!  So proud of him!  Last night, was his first game of the season.  We are so thankful that Jordan ended up on a good team with good coaches this year!  His team lost by 3 last night but he hit the ball every time, putting it in the outfield.  He played second base and right field.  He is growing in to a sweet, loving young man.  I have to say that our relationship has improved so much in the last year.  We loved each other but we clashed quite a bit!  I love him so very much, with all of my heart.  He is going to do great in this world, I know God has a plan for his life!  He gets to attend Youth Camp this summer for the first time.  I am praying that God shows him how real He is.  This is one mama that will be praying 1,000 times harder as we approach that week!  I know God has something for him and I cannot wait to see it unfold!

What's Been Going on With Jake Lately!

Jacob is finishing up his second grade year at Loge.  I am so proud of the effort he gives towards everything in life.  It is always 100% and 90% of the time with a good attitude!  He is my worker bee, he works hard at everything he does.  He recently had a tooth pulled on April 8.  He needed more room on the bottom, only 3 of 4 permanent teeth came in.  He was such a trooper and got Orange Leaf after wards for being so brave!  He is doing great in school, all A's for the year so far.  He is reading book after book every day- last 9 wks he was the top reader in the 2nd grade!  His is shooting for that at the end of the year along with being the top reader in Mr. Foley's class.  He recently wrote a paragraph about what kind of business he would have.  He wants to own WalMart- smart kid!  His first baseball game was this past Saturday, April 20 and his team won 12-2!  He has a fantastic coach this year.  He also tried out for the Vipers, 8U travel team Saturday and we found out Sunday that he made the team again!  Baseball ALL Summer long, you can't get any better than that!  I am so proud of my little guy, he will be turning 8 in a month- it's so sad how time flies!  I love him to the moon and back!

Birthday Bowling with Friends

We celebrated Jordan's 12 birthday this past weekend.  On Friday, April 12, we took Jordan and a few friends bowling.  The boys wanted Taco Bell then we headed off to bowl.  After bowling, we took them to Tastee Freeze for ice cream and then back to our house to play some basketball.  Only one stayed over and he and Jordan stayed up until 2a.m.- that's a big deal apparently to my son-lol!  On Saturday, we celebrated with family.  We are definitely blessed and Jordan is spoiled rotten to say the least.  He received $250.00 from everyone and took some of it later that evening and bought a t.v. for his room.  We had a great time spending the day with family, the weather was beautiful- it was perfection!

This coming weekend, Brad & I are celebrating our 15th anniversary while the kids go to my parents house for 2 days.  We decided to have a "stay"cation instead of going to Gatlinburg (we are planning a fam. vacay in early Aug to Gatlinburg.).  We have so much to do around the house, so we are using that money for a patio and firepit in the backyard.  We plan on working, having fun and probably hurting together from Sat. night until Tues. evening!  This project will either strengthen our marriage or we'll kill each other-lol!  We are so very blessed to have each other and our wonderful boys!

Our 15th Anniversary & Jordan is 12!!!!

I love this day, God blessed me tremendously on this day 15 & 12 years ago!  15 years ago today, I married my best friend- what a ride it's been!  I love him more today than I did 15 years ago and I'm looking forward to spending many, many more years with him!  Brad is a man of character & integrity, he has a heart for his family & God, serves God faithfully and is a wonderful father to our boys!  I am so glad I said yes 16 1/2 years ago!  On our third anniversary, God gave us a wonderful gift- an 8 lb 8 oz bouncing blue eyed baby boy!  I love him more than life itself, he is an incredible young man. Jordan's heart is as big as a mountain, his love for God & others is amazing!  He is stubborn sometimes but is growing into a great young man.  A young man that makes me proud.  I pray God uses him, fills him with joy & love- peace & confidence -character & integrity.  I pray that God makes him into who He wants Jordan to be, not who I want or who the world wants him to be!  I am so thankful and blessed to have these two men in my life- thank you Jesus for your blessings!

Easter Weekend 2013

The pics are out of order but we started off Easter morning with Sunrise Service- our family was up and out the door for church at 5:30!  The youth cooked breakfast for the church after Sunrise Service was over.  They made bacon, eggs, sausage, pancakes and biscuits & gravy!  It was so yummy and we were so proud of their hard work.  Jordan made 10 dozen scrambled eggs and finished making pancakes for his dad!  After Sunrise Service, we headed home to open Easter baskets and change for regular service.  The reg. church service started at 10:30 and then we headed to my parents house for Easter lunch.  The food & desserts were delicious, tons of choices as always.  After lunch, Justin and Jake hunted for eggs and Jordan & Chris (our cousin) rode 4 wheelers.  It had rained earlier in the week, so their 4 wheelin' ride was a muddy one!  The boys received their Easter baskets from all their grandparents and then we headed home to rest.  The kids had to head back to school yesterday, April 1!  They only have 6-7 weeks left and get 2 or 3 three day weekends from now until school is out on May 23!  We have a busy Spring and Summer ahead of us--Baseball, Birthdays, Anniversaries, Travel Baseball, Vacation, Church Camp, Swimming- and much, much more!  I love it!!!

What's Been Happening Around the Fuller House

There's been tons going on around our house the last few weeks.  Jacob attended a baseball clinic on March 16 and finished up his season down at EBA.  He is now in full baseball mode!  Jordan finished his season down at EBA with a 9-1 record and is in full baseball mode too!  It is officially baseball season in the Fuller house!  We are still watching basketball, up until recently our Hoosiers were still in the run for the championship but they came up short against Syracuse and only made it to the Sweet 16!  We are now cheering on Michigan, another Big 10 team!  This past week/weekend was Spring Break/Good Friday/Easter weekend.  The kids had fun at my parents house, they stayed the entire week with them!  They went bowling, to the movies and got to hang out with their cousins Justin and Katelyn.  Brad and I were off on Good Friday, so we spent the weekend resting and working around the house.  Jordan and Jake spent tons of time loving on Toby since they hadn't seen him all week.  This week kicks off our regular scheduled week of baseball practices- we are SO excited!!!
