A day out with friends

Last week my two girlfriends from church, Stacey and Nicole and I took our kids out on the town for a Christmas party/outing. We started off at Cracker Barrel for a late breakfast. Kendall and Anna pose so well for pics, I intended on having Jacob in the pic but he is "hard headed" when it comes to taking pictures. Especially when mom wants a nice group photo and he won't cooperate with me so I don't press the issue.

So finally he decides he wants his picture taken. Anna is with Nicole bringing the car around so Jacob and Kendall pose for a picture. Still no group photo!

Next, we venture to the mall to see Santa. FINALLY, a group photo! Kendall, Jacob and Anna together right before they see Santa. And yes, that's about all that happened with Jacob, he saw Santa. He was scared and hid his head into Kendall. He wanted no part of Santa at all. The elves/helpers took their picture but Jacob wouldn't look up and the picture didn't turn out so good.

Finally, we took a ride on the carousel and everyone loved this. I let Jacob ride it when he behaves in the mall. He's getting too big for a stroller now, so I use the carousel as a means to be good.

And....it usually works. We had a good day spending time with each other.
