Christmas Cookie Day!

Every Christmas, we go to my parents house and make sugar cookies with the kids.
It started out with just Jordan, then we added Justin and now it is all three boys helping out.

Until this year! This year Jordan said he was "too old" to make cookies with the kids. So he and his daddy watched Indiana get smashed by KY!

It is a fun tradition that we started when I had Jordan. He was 8 months old when he decorated his first cookie! Of course he had help but that's when this crazy day got started!

The kids get to roll out the dough, cut the cookies, place them on the cookie sheet and sometimes Mamaw lets them put them into the oven.

We usually make about 5-6 dozen cookies and then we decorate them.

The decorating is the fun part because the kids (esp. Jacob), like to put every kind of sprinkle on them. They are so loaded down with sprinkles that you can't even taste the cookie!

We usually allow them to decorate 5 a piece, any way they want. Then my mom and I finish the rest. It is such a fun time and a memory the kids will always have!
