Jacob and his cousin Isaac- he played in the same tourney as Jacob but for South Spencer
Saturday, June 29, the Vipers played in Ferdinand, IN. Their first game was 9:30 CST and they lost by 1 run to Ireland. They played again at 12:30 CST and won 23-8 against Ferdinand. Their 3rd game was their last game unfortunately! They lost by 1 run in an extra inning against Forest Park. Although our boys did not make it to the championship, they are champions in my eyes. The poor sportsmanship from all the teams we played (Forest Park fans especially) was unbearable at times. Our team played with class, our fans cheered with class and that makes us the "real" winners in the end!
