It was a beautiful day to be at the park in Southern Indiana! My friend Laurie and I took our youngest kiddos to Scales Lake today for a picnic and play date. Laurie and I have been friends since we were toddlers and have remained close ever since. She has moved about an hour away and has a full time job of raising 5 kiddos and being a wife, so we don't get to see each other as often as we would like! The kids had a blast playing on the playground, exploring the woods and petting the animals in the petting zoo. It was an all-around great day, can't wait for the next time we get together!
