4th Grade, Here Comes Jordan!

Jordan started 4th grade today. My heart is heavy because I cannot believe he's 2 years away from middle school. He's over 5 feet tall and is wearing a Size 8 Men's Shoe. What? I can wear his shoes, that's crazy! Jordan is a gentle giant, he doesn't know the strength he has. He doesn't use it for harm at all, he is very loving. He loves the Lord with his whole heart and understands what it means to love. He loves to sit on my lap, he loves being cuddle with and he still gives me kisses and hugs. He's not a perfect kid by any means, he's head strong and stubborn and occasionally has attitude! I love you Jordan, mom and dad are so very proud of the young man you are becoming.

Awards Day at Loge

Today was Awards Day at Loge Elementary and Jordan received the Honor Roll Award, Accelerated Reader Award and an award for the Summer Reading Program from our local library. He made Principal's List (straight A's) for 3 out of 4 grading periods this year, the other grading period (the first one) he received 2 B's and the rest A's! I am so proud of him, he has learned so much and has grown up so much during this year. I am thankful that once again, he had an excellent teacher, Mrs. Holland! I cannot believe tomorrow at 2:50 p.m., I will be the mother of a 4th grader!

Character Counts

It's hard to see but in the Character Counts segment of the "Wildcat News", Jordan is a student at Loge whose character skills are deemed the "Best of the Best". He received a Character Counts, Loge t-shirt in front of the entire student body. We are pretty proud of him!

Jordan's School Picture

Jordan is now in 3rd grade and is doing great. The first 9 wks. were a struggle to learn to be more responsible and independent but he is slowly but surely doing better. He made the Honor Roll for the first 9wks. and is doing pretty good this 9 wks. He still enjoys all things sports and will be starting basketball practice the week of Nov. 9. We are super excited to see him play because he has moved to a new league that will be more competitive! He is a super sweet, soft hearted boy and I wouldn't change a thing about him- oh wait, maybe his listening skills!
