Women's Christmas Party

Last Friday (Dec. 3), the women's group at church had their Christmas party. What a time we had!!! I, along with a few other ladies decorated the facility earlier that day. We had to be back to set the food up at 5:00. The party started at 6 and we didn't leave there until 11-11:30. We honestly were having so much fun, we lost track of time. We have recently revamped the program and started the meeting/party off with brainstorming ideas. Then we ate Turoni's pizza, bread sticks, salad and about every dessert known to man (at least 10-12 desserts were present!). We ate and then began playing games. We started with our ornament exchange to Twas' the Night Before Christmas. After that, we played a Christmas song game. Each person drew a Christmas word out and had to come up with a song that contained the word. It's not as easy as you think! After round one, we mixed it up and each person had to sing the song like a famous person. I got Michael Jackson and had to sing Angels We Have Heard on High! That was a treat. We took a break and then played the White Elephant Exchange game. That is why there is a picture of my friend Nic holding a mannequin head. She received that as a White Elephant gift from her sister-in-law who is a stylist! Then we drew names for accountability partners for the next year. We had a wonderful evening spending time together and laughing. I cannot wait until next year's party!!!
