On Friday, May 7, Jacob graduated from Imagination Station Preschool at Living Hope Community Church. There were 24 kids that graduated, Jacob had a total of 8 (including him) in his class. His teacher was Tina Phillips and she is a phenomenal teacher, the Lord has blessed her with an amazing gift. I never worried about Jacob because I knew she would treat him like her own. Brad graduated with her and her husband and they are friends, so that helped too! The kids came out to "Pomp and Circumstance" and did the pledge and then the program began. They sang the "Days of the Week" song to the tune of "The Adams Family", they sang their vowel song and then performed "Toody Ta". Then each child received their diploma and announced to everyone what they wanted to be when they grew up. Jacob wants to be a baseball player (for the Cardinals). The program was adorable and the reception afterwards was wonderful. Some of us moms got together and made crafts with the kids for decorations and I took each child's picture for a banner. Preschool was an awesome experience, I am so thankful that Brad and I decided to enroll Jacob. He has made some life long friends, Hudson, Eli and Gavin. Once the reception was over, we celebrated at Los Bravos with Mexican food and gifts. It is so hard to believe I am the mother of a Kindergartner and a future 4th grader. Where has the time gone?

Jake had another wonderful party at preschool. The kids made Easter picture frames, played games, read a story and had an Easter Egg Hunt! The kids were so good and had so much fun. I cannot believe there is 1 more month of preschool and then preschool graduation. Jake is officially registered for Kindergarten as of April 1! Baseball season is in full swing, his first practice was March 30. I need life to slow down a bit!

Jacob is loving preschool. This progress report was sent home today on the things he has learned since the end of Aug. He amazes me every day with recognizing letters, numbers and words. He can read some sight words, which blows me away. I am so proud of him and so thankful we decided to enroll him into a preschool!
