We bought a 9 footer Clark.............and it was too big for our living room! Good times at the tree farm this year. It took us over an hour and a half to find a tree! We visit the farm that I have gone to my entire life, it's sad how ran down it has become. We had fun anyway and we got tons of exercise that day! We brought the tree home and Jordan and Brad got it tightened in the stand outside. They brought it inside the living room and it smashed up against the ceiling- FUNNY! Brad brought out the circular saw and the hand saw and went to town. Our living room was full of smoke from the saw, so we had to open the windows. Once we got it to fit, we had to trim it like crazy. It received a full-on make-over. I was getting a little frustrated, Brad had to calm me down - he reminded me what the season is all about. I quickly switched back into "whatever will be, will be" mode and we decorated the fat, too tall, ugly, misshapen tree. Once we put the ornaments on, then the skirt- the tree became beautiful and all was well in our little world. We enjoyed each others company all Thanksgiving weekend, it was much needed. We finished the night off with Mexican food and Elf- you can't get any better than that!
