July 2-7, Jacob played at Evansville East. The pool play was during the week and the boys won 1 and lost 2. It was incredibly HOT, they were troopers! Thursday evening, we played the Newburgh Sting. We beat them 16-5! Newburgh is Boonville's rival so it was awesome!!! Coach Brian was so excited that he treated the team to Dairy Queen after wards! Saturday was the actual tourney and the kids played at 10:30 and beat Stringtown to advance to the next game. We went home to cool off, again it was incredibly HOT! The next game began at 4:30 and we lost against East. The boys played their hearts out, they tried hard and we couldn't be more proud. Jake is having a blast, we will be sad to see the season end!
